Spank the Yeti, the The Party Game of Questionable Decisions, asks the important questions in life, like… would you dumpster hump a robot, eat the dingleberries of a coked-out unicorn, and joust Tarzan? Or, maybe you would hump the unicorn, joust the robot, and snack on Tarzan's dingleberries?
As our second self-published title through Galactic Sneeze, we applied everything we learned from Schmovie and kept the format lean with cards in a box.
I’m particularly proud of the content, the custom insert that keeps the decks organized, and the built-in scorekeeping system that removes the need for extra tokens or score sheets. We also created a downloadable paper toy yeti and leaned into unhinged social content, including running around Brooklyn in a full Yeti suit.
The game launched with a successful Kickstarter campaign, expanded through two print runs and a geek-themed expansion pack, and ultimately sold more than 30,000 copies before being licensed to Hasbro and rebranded as Fork Milk Kidnap.
I also co-wrote, illustrated, animated, and voiced a short Kickstarter video to help bring the campaign to life. Spoiler alert… somebody gets weird with the mayo.
